Mini Meatball Sliders

Ingredients
For the meatballs:
1 lb ground beef (or half beef, half pork for extra flavor)
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For assembling:
1 pkg (12-count) Hawaiian rolls or small slider buns
1½ cups marinara sauce (homemade or store-bought)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella (or sliced provolone)
2 tbsp butter, melted
½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp parsley (optional)
🔥 Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Make the meatballs:
In a bowl, combine ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Mix gently until combined. Roll into small meatballs (about 1 inch).
Bake the meatballs for 15–18 minutes, until cooked through.
Warm the marinara sauce in a saucepan. Add cooked meatballs and simmer for 5 minutes so they soak up flavor.
Prepare the rolls:
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half (keeping the top and bottom layers intact).
Place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
Assemble:
Spoon a little marinara onto each roll bottom.
Add a meatball, more sauce, then cheese.
Place the top halves of the rolls on.
Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley.
Bake uncovered at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are golden.
Slice and serve warm!
🍴 Tips & Variations
Use frozen meatballs for a shortcut — just heat in marinara before assembling.
Add a slice of fresh basil or sprinkle red pepper flakes for extra kick.
For a party platter, keep them warm in a crockpot on “warm” setting with a little extra marinara on the bottom.
