Honey Garlic Chicken Skillet

A white dish with white rice topped with 3 chicken thighs and sauce

This sweet-savory chicken comes together in one pan and the sauce is SO good you’ll want to drizzle it over everything.

🛒 Ingredients

1½–2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)

⅓ cup honey

¼ cup soy sauce

3–4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons oil (olive or avocado)

🍳 Instructions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken in a single layer and cook 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.

Lower heat to medium. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn it).

Stir in honey and soy sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.

Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.

Simmer 2–3 more minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken until sticky and glossy.

🍚 Serve With

Steamed white or jasmine rice

Roasted broccoli or green beans

Or sliced and wrapped in lettuce cups
