Sausage Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 lb (about 1 cup) breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy)
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but yummy)
1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Pinch of salt & pepper
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
Drain excess grease.
Mix filling:
In a bowl, combine cooked sausage, cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until creamy.
Assemble rolls:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up toward the point.
Bake 11–13 minutes, or until golden brown.
Serve warm — great with a side of maple syrup, honey mustard, or spicy jam for dipping!
