Homemade pico de gallo

- 5 medium size tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 cup finely diced onion
- 1 jalapeno diced (remove seeds for less spice)
- Juice from 2 limes
- 1/2 cup of cilantro
Instructions
Combine the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno and cilantro in a medium size bowl. Squeeze the lime juice into the bowl and stir the ingredients all together. This made about 2 cups. This will last a couple of days in the refrigerator.
Pico De gallo
I love to use fresh tomatoes from the garden to make Pico de gallo. It only takes a few ingredients and is so fresh and delicious.
I am making burrito bowls tonight and made some Pico to top them
with…but not sure it will make it that long.
You can customize this recipe to your liking.

Variations
Add more jalapeno or leave in the seeds to give it more spice. I do not like a lot of onion, so I only add 1/4 cup.
If you don’t like chunky Pico combine all the ingredients, then use a blender or food processor to make it smooth.
