Summer Bucket List
I decided this year to make a summer bucket list with my kids. Well summer is here and time for playing outside and soaking up the sun. Staying up late watching movies and eating popcorn.
This year I decided to make a bucket list and every week choose 1 or 2 things to try then see how my kids enjoyed them. Everyone is not the same so if you’re doing something and no one is enjoying it move on to the next idea. Make your own bucket list that is tailored to your families likes and dislikes. No joy comes from trying to be something that you are not.
Bucket List
- Spend a day at the beach or lake.
- Play With your kids in the sprinkler.
- Go on a hike.
- Go to the library and spend the day reading with your kids.
- Have a water balloon fight.
- Picnic at the park.
- Make homemade ice-cream together.
- Fly a kite.
- Make homemade slime.
- Catch lightning bugs.
- Do a scavenger hunt.
- Go to a theme park.
- Visit a farmer’s marker.
- Tye-dye t-shirts
- Build a time capsule
- Make homemade lemonade.
- Family movie night.
- Spend the day at a waterpark.
- Hang out with friends.
- Go fishing.
- Jump on a trampoline.
- Build a fort.
- Make homemade pizza.
- Go to an arcade.
- Play hide and seek.
- Dance in the rain.
- Go to a drive-in movie theatre.
- Play mini golf.
- Paint rocks.
- Go to a baseball game.
Take pictures and save them in a scrapbook then you can look back on past summer memories, too. I hope you enjoy completing this summer bucket list with kids.
