What is the best recipe used to make sausage stars? The recipe I use is delicious and a great appetizer for a party. You can make the filling the day before and place it in the refrigerator Depending on what your family likes, there are a few different ingredients you could add to the filling. My husband insisted we use to make this recipe with green chilis, so I divided this recipe and made some with green chilis.
Tips For making the Best Recipe For Sausage Stars
Make the sausage star filling the day before and place in the fridge up to two days before. The day of the party bake the wonton wrappers and place in an airtight container when cooled. The filling recipe should be right for the amount of wontons in the package. This recipe can easily be doubled. This wonton filling could be served as a dip with fried wonton wrappers. For this recipe I used 1 pound of natural sausage. I do not recommend using maple flavored sausage for this recipe. If you want to add extra spice use 1 pound of spicy or hot sausage. You can use homemade ranch dressing, or make it even easier by using bottled ranch salad dressing. Some pickier eaters will enjoy this recipe by leaving out the vegetables and just having sausage cheese and ranch dressing.
